During the week of November 8, Ridge will walk into his house and find a shocking sight. Brooke and Hope will be there with Deacon. Of course, Ridge will explode in a rage. Deacon might try to explain that he doesn’t want to cause any problems. Hope will back up her father, but Ridge is blindsided when Brooke actually defends the con man.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Hope has already tried to talk to Brooke about Deacon. When Ridge explodes, Hope will have a conversation with him about her biological father. However, emotions run high and Hope is frustrated. The young woman will blurt out a reminder to Ridge that he is not her father.

B&B Spoilers – Unexpected Attack

Of course, Ridge doesn’t need reminding. Ridge is well aware that Deacon is Hope’s father, but thought he did a good job in treating her like one of his own. That’s not how Hope feels, though. According to Noelle’s interview with Soap Opera Digest, Hope always wanted the unconditional love and approval of a father, but never got it from Ridge.

“I think in many ways, Hope yearned for a sense of acceptance and love from Ridge as a father figure, but it was never unconditionally there. Now that her real father is part of the picture again, Hope is jumping at the opportunity to have him in her life, even if he’s not perfect.”

      Of course it was never there. Ridge listened to Stephanie and later Taylor about not giving too much of hinself to Hope. You could see it break her heart when Ridge sided with Steffy about Liam…knowing how wrong she was to even chase him at all. Then, during every triangle issue..he expected Hope..not Steffy to just step aside. Ridge was physically filling a role & being a provider, but he was never the father she needed.
