The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was stunned by a simultaneous double turndown. Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) decided to end their rivalry after processing all that happened recently and across the years.
TPTB presented many angles of the Brooke-Ridge-Taylor triangle. This year included many angst-filled moments for Ridge with Brooke and then with Taylor.
Having Brooke and Taylor make the decision plays into the current social winds in this version of Los Angeles, California. While Brooke and Taylor have their cake and eat it to, it is fair to ask if Ridge is better off without them.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Yes, Ridge Forrester Is Better Off Without Brooke Logan
Ridge claims to love Brooke and Taylor. He has been married to each lady a combined ten times and has four children with them.
Brooke let herself way off the hook when celebrating with Taylor, stating that this decision makes her feel great. Yes, it has often been all about Brooke, as viewers know.
Brooke created repeated instances of drama through the decades and admittedly was the cause of numerous breakups. So, anyone, possibly including an open Brooke, can say that Ridge will be better off without her.
B&B Spoilers – Yes, Ridge Forrester Is Better Off Without Taylor Hayes
Where has Taylor been in recent years? No, in LA, that is for sure.
Instead of saving the world, she could have been helping her two surviving children, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Wood’s character needed both parents on many occasions in recent years. Ridge was left to act as father and mother.
And then there is the Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) issue. He is not mentally sound. Maybe if his world-famous psychiatrist mother was in town, she could have recognized that her son badly needed mental health treatment or lowered the boom on him as only a mother can.
Ridge was a defacto single parent when Taylor was saving the world. Was that fair to Ridge, his supporters ask?
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Love Is So Subjective In Daytime
The arguable truth is that all three characters, Brooke, Ridge, and Taylor, in whatever order one chooses to place them, are to blame for the triangle they created and sustained.
This long arc may be over or has been indefinitely shelved. Kudos to the writing staff for presenting this creative take and to all three fine actors (Lang, Kaye, and Allen) for delivering stellar performances throughout this year’s storyline on B&B.
