Hardcore fans know the history of these characters. Newer fans are able to pick up what they need to know from flashbacks and dialogue references. That allows all viewers to know that this triangle is steeped in soapy history.

In the current storyline, Ridge can not decide whether to remain married to Brooke or to reunite with Taylor. An ongoing question involves why Brooke and Taylor allow Ridge to keep them hanging?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Is Destiny?

Well, Brooke has been Ridge’s destiny to date. There are other ways to describe this pairing getting married eight times. Destiny is one of them.

Brooke is sincere when she tells Ridge that there is no other man she wants more than him. But her pattern of creating chaos for him and his family has clearly been based on self-centeredness.

Relying on nostalgic feelings to secure current ties has not cinched the deal this time around. Brooke is increasingly concerned that Taylor’s push to reconcile threatens their marriage.

B&B Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Emboldened By Today

Taylor put yesterday behind her when she was performing missionary work in Africa. While her efforts have not been detailed, the recast character Allen plays was apparently providing psychological services to many impoverished people.

She returned to Los Angeles, California, determined not to allow Brooke to set her off. Taylor has been successful in that effort while also furthering another loftier goal.

Taylor believes that Ridge would be better off with his Forrester family instead of remaining at the bottom of Brooke’s Logan world. The kiss Ridge and Taylor shared in magical Monaco reignited hopes of a reunion that appeared dashed.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge Forrester Could Do Anything

Ridge could return to Brooke and retain Taylor’s warm feelings. He could also reconcile with Taylor and face Brooke’s wrath.

The second choice is clearly giving Ridge pause because he knows Brooke will likely respond harshly. In contrast, Taylor told Ridge that she would be okay with whatever his decision. That approach gave him a free pass, which was not good strategy.

Taylor has strengthened her hand and, if she takes Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) advice, will continuing making a stronger push for Ridge. Meanwhile, Brooke believes that Ridge’s fascination with destiny will bring him back to her on B&B.
