The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal fans have some strong reactions to Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) words last week. He compared the Logan women taking Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to the “PhoeBeth” scandal. Was he wrong in doing that or did he have every right to make the comparison?

B&B spoilers teased that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would be confronted. That happened after Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) informed his father about the adoption papers.

However, the conversation did not go smoothly. Ridge declared war when it was clear that Brooke and Hope were not seeing his side of things. As the discussion went on, the situation would get even more intense.

B&B Spoilers – ‘PhoeBeth’ Comparison

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirm that Ridge compared them taking Douglas away from Thomas to the “PhoeBeth” incident. He apologized afterward, but some fans don’t think he was totally wrong. After all, he was just trying to get Brooke and Hope to understand what this custody battle was doing to Thomas.

In Ridge’s mind, what happened to baby Beth is just like what they are trying to do to Douglas — ripping the child away from his home and family.

Brooke and Hope did not understand where Ridge was coming from. Or at the very least, didn’t want to understand it. Hope tried explaining her point of view regarding Douglas. From there, things just got more heated until Brooke took off her wedding ring.

Fans are divided on whether they agree with Ridge’s statement or not. Even if he regretted the comparison later, what’s done is done. You can’t take words back, but did he have a point? Are the Logan women doing to Douglas what was done to baby Beth?

      I think Ridge is right. It is his grandson. I hope Thomas gets a new love interest, that would really put the Logan’s in there place. They need that.

      Ridge is completely missing the bigger point!!! Why does he think Steffy hates Thomas right now? It’s because as her brother he should have told her and let her prepare to give up Beth.
      The blindsiding of Steffy is on Thomas…not Hope. She’d been through enough! No mother who just found her presumed dead child should be expected to spend another second away from that child! Ridge is incredibly insensitive.

      Am done watching. Why can’t the writers write about company competition. Same old drama between Hope, Stephie. Show Thomas for who he is. My friends and I are tuning into something else.

      Hope doesn’t seem too concerned about Beth at the moment. All concerns are for a child who is no relation to her, was a stepmom but that is soon to be annulled. She has no rights to that child, no matter what the father is doing. Ridge, Steffy, Bill, Liam and Wyatt are relatives not Hope or Brooke. She needs to take care of her own child and bond with her

      Thomas NEEDS PROFESSIONAL HELP , he is seriously disturbed and at this time should NOT have his son till he is signed off by a DR he is ok. Custody should only be till that happens then he should have his son back full time! AND I am so very sick of looking at all of the gratuitus bare chest scenes with Thomas. As if thats to make us forget what a weasle he is.
