B&B spoilers teased that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) would be confronted. That happened after Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) informed his father about the adoption papers.

However, the conversation did not go smoothly. Ridge declared war when it was clear that Brooke and Hope were not seeing his side of things. As the discussion went on, the situation would get even more intense.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers confirm that Ridge compared them taking Douglas away from Thomas to the “PhoeBeth” incident. He apologized afterward, but some fans don’t think he was totally wrong. After all, he was just trying to get Brooke and Hope to understand what this custody battle was doing to Thomas.

In Ridge’s mind, what happened to baby Beth is just like what they are trying to do to Douglas — ripping the child away from his home and family.
