Things got even shakier for Ridge when Brooke began supporting Deacon reconnecting with Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle). Ridge had a bad feeling that something was going to happen and it did.

Ridge was willing to put New Year’s Eve behind and forgive Brooke. However, that changed when Brooke broke up the fight between Ridge and Deacon. Then, Brooke dared to defend Deacon. That is when Ridge decided to walk away from his marriage.

It seems that Brooke succeeds in getting Ridge to talk to her. Soap Opera Digest confirms that both Ridge and Brooke express their love and regret to each other.

Just because Ridge and Brooke express their love and regret doesn’t mean they will reunite, though. It’s a difficult situation for Ridge as he has feelings for both Brooke and Taylor. Kaye explained to SOD,

“What can I say? It’s complicated. When it comes to Taylor and Brooke, anyone you’ve had kids with and spent time with and have loved at one point, that door is never closed completely. We’ll have to see what happens.”

At some point, Ridge is going to have to pick one woman to be with and let the other go. However, will it be Brooke, with who he shares a passionate love with but always gets betrayed? Or could it be Taylor, who isn’t the love of his life, but knows he can trust?
