As viewers recall, Ridge’s night of drinking a year ago at Bikini Bar led to his first personal encounter with Shauna. She helped him to an upstairs room that night and also kissed him. Ridge didn’t recall anything because he was out of it.

The above makes what happened in Vegas plausible, or maybe it was inevitable?  Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer) seems to know all. So her role was and will remain important, as is Shauna’s belief that she was destined to be with Ridge.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan’s Trip Extends Reaction Time

Broke and Ridge obviously reconciled when viewers saw them in Forrester Creations’ executive office. An undetermined time jump was inserted into the plot since both characters were last seen in late April. It feels as though a few months have passed.

The creative, brief exit that’s been written for Lang’s character allows the Vegas wedding news to stew for a short while. Brooke’s inevitable return and reaction are looming, with crushing emotional fallout anticipated from various characters who are directly involved.

Brooke sensed that Shauna was a threat for many months. She knew that Ridge was developing feelings for Shauna, which put Bridge’s fraying marriage in jeopardy. Well, the last string has snapped.

Shidge is a couple’s nickname option. But whatever one wants to call the realized union between Shauna and Ridge isn’t the point. Instead, viewers will learn what happened to the divorce papers Ridge and Brooke signed months ago, but apparently hadn’t filed.

Whether, or for how long, this new pair remains together is intriguing. There is clear chemistry between them, but Brooke always manages to find her way back to Ridge. Of course, it must be said that he has always returned to her as well.
