Ridge is punishing Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) justly. The son he had with Taylor orchestrated a twisted revenge scheme against Brooke. The outcome manipulated the referenced remarriage ceremony with Allen’s character.

But if truth be told, Ridge is using Thomas as a scapegoat. Atkinson’s character was inspired by his father and sister’s (Steffy Forrester Finnegan, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) constant berating of Brooke. That drove Thomas to develop the scheme and execute it to near perfection.

If Ridge is honest with himself, he will realize that Thomas piled on. Ridge wronged Brooke the most. Plus, Kaye’s character betrayed Taylor’s trust.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Is Exhausted

Brooke had quite a year. It began after the stroke of midnight with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) in her mansion.

They engaged in excessive drinking. Brooke broke sobriety because Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) manipulated that outcome.

But Brooke allowed Deacon to become close to her after his release from prison. That was not Sheila or Ridge’s fault.

Lang’s character recognized that she allowed herself to be part of a dysfunctional cycle based on her obsession with all things Ridge. For the moment, she has subtracted his excessive influence, even including the mistletoe kiss on Christmas.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Threatened By The Past

Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) turn is stunning. He has aligned himself with Sheila, stating that she will remain free because of what Taylor did to him.

Viewers know Hunter Tylo (Taylor) embodied the character who shot Bill in the back in retribution for him cavorting with Steffy. That seemingly buried storyline suddenly was resurrected because it allows Brown’s character a plausible path forward.

Taylor will be hurt if Ridge and Brooke reconcile. But that issue could be sidelined because Steffy seemingly has to tell her mother what happened at the cliff house with Sheila and Bill on B&B.
