The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Ridge’s Surprise, Brooke And Taylor’s Paint War

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that while we’ve been dealing with comas, attempted murders, and convicts, the writers at B&B have some lighter storylines to pass on and keep things leveled.

On the other side of town, there has been a big battle over Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and it doesn’t show signs of slowing down. The decades-long fight between Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) continues to wage. Meanwhile, Ridge just watches on as if he is enjoying it.

Ridge must like watching them battle it out over him, so much so, that he’ll walk into them having a paint fight. Yes, they will cover each other with paint in a fit about who will get Ridge in the end. Thorsten Kaye spoke on this to Soap Opera Digest saying, “I don’t know why two grown women would get involved in a paint fight. You’ll see how it plays out. I think they both did an amazing job – and they still look great covered in paint.”

It’s not surprising that these two would continue to duke it out, but what is odd is why they would have a paint fight. How does that even start? Were they painting together? To make things worse, Kaye seems to think we enjoy the constant battle between the two women over him when that couldn’t be further from the fact.

Kaye said, “This has worked over the years and people seem to want to see it. It’s amazing to see how two incredible, intelligent women would throw paint at each other.”

While we may be sick of the back and forth, Thorsten Kaye is loving it, thanking the producers and writers for going back to this. “It’s always an enjoyable afternoon when we bring this to the table and we hope the viewers think so too.”

Well, Kaye, I think you are reading the audience wrong because we’re pretty tired of the story and wish Ridge would just decide who he wants to be with once and for all. It’s time to tell one of them to kick rocks and just be happy with the one you want to be with. If we have to do this for another few years we’re going to teeter out.
