After sustaining a sprained back and broken ribs during her motorcycle accident, Steffy was advised by Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to take her pain medication.

At first, Steffy didn’t want to take the pills and tried to power on without them. However, when the pain became too excruciating, she followed the doctor’s orders.

Fans already know that this is foreshadowing a painkiller addiction storyline for Steffy. While some don’t like the idea, others are interested in how it will play out.

Vinny is a friend of Steffy’s brother Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). At one point, fans thought he’d be a potential love interest for Steffy. While Vinny seems like a decent guy, his profession is shady.

Vinny is a drug dealer and has helped Thomas out in the past. Now, it’s going to be Steffy who’ll need his help.

With her pills running low and Finn refusing to refill her prescription, Steffy is going to be searching for an alternative.

Needing help with her pain, Steffy will ask Vinny for his assistance.

As Thomas mentioned Vinny has a crush on Steffy. So when she comes to him asking for a favor, he’ll do whatever he can for her.

Vinny cares for Steffy and doesn’t want to see Steffy in pain, and will get the medication for her. By doing this, he’s hoping this will win her over. She’ll see how much he cares for her and maybe she’ll be willing to give him a chance.

While he thinks he may be helping her, he’s going to end up doing more harm than good.

The longer Steffy takes the pills, the more she’ll become dependent on them. She’ll need Vinny to keep her stock so she won’t be in too much pain.
