That particular prop and the entire scene was very soapy and highly effective within this particular storyline, as it added an exclamation mark to the climax.

The manner in which the three actors were physically positioned, leading up to the actual blow, was sharp. The crescendo lifted the audience to the shock of Penny’s hit, Bowden’s fall into Hope added flair, and the resulting panic was brilliant presented.

So, Sally’s secret is out. Flo’s efforts to seek out the truth happened because Penny carelessly left her laptop open when she needed to momentarily depart her office.

Flo remained, checked Sally’s digital file and found that her only diagnosed symptom was stress. No disease, no illness, nothing. That rocketed her toward Wyatt’s house, where the confrontation with Sally and then, unexpectedly, with Penny, played out.
