Did Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) attend a conference with Dr. Escobar at some point in the recent past? If so, then they must have traded notes on how to willfully break professional oaths.

Wyatt was lied to by Flo Fulton (Katrina Bowden) last year, when she withheld what she knew about his niece, Beth Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray), being alive. Now, he’s being lied to by Sally, who has been claiming she’s about to die.

Viewers need far more details about this setup, as Katie Logan (Heather Tom) seemed to simply happen upon Sally when Ruiz’ character revealed the news to her. This implies that Sally and the doctor improvised, due to Katie’s presence, or some other devious maneuver was employed so that Tom’s character would learn the supposed truth.

It appears as though Katie was intended as a carrier. She was meant to be devastated by what she heard. It always did seem odd that Katie, who was purely a work colleague at Forrester Creations, would suddenly become Sally’s most trusted confidant.

Sally wanted to work herself back into Wyatt’s good graces and she wasn’t afraid to use this most manipulative process to achieve her goal. She now rivals her former boyfriend, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), as the main villain.
