Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) acceptance of Sheila opened the door to decades of misery for his family and others in this version of Los Angeles, California. Steffy’s mother, Taylor Hayes (as originally played by Hunter Tylo), became Sheila’s shooting victim years before Steffy suffered the same fate.

Thankfully, both ladies survived. However, the damage Sheila has always created goes well beyond physical scars.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – John Finn Finnegan And Taylor Hayes Were Naive Enablers

As fans recall, Finn was thrilled to meet his birth mother on his wedding day. While he quickly learned about her horrid past, Finn wanted to give Sheila a chance to prove herself.

Incredibly, as part of a solid arc, Taylor (as now played by Krista Allen) became one of Sheila’s defenders. They bonded as grandmothers, with Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Piper Harriet) serving as common family ground.

Steffy was right all along about Sheila. The burning memory of her also trying to kill Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), which included the use of a bullet, allowed Wood’s character to reject Sheila’s claims of having changed because, as the plot has proven, she has not.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Sheila Carter Is The Same

Sheila did approach her latest comeback with dexterity. Devoted fans recall her prior return (2017-2018) was not as dramatic. So, that revival appears to have lessened the guard of some who were familiar with her more infamous exploits.

Using Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) and buddying up to Taylor did allow Sheila to hide in plain sight. But exploiting one of her children’s emotions, Finn, was classic Sheila. She is the same now as ever.

Finn, Steffy, and the others are clearly worse off because she returned. But B&B’s audience has been taken on a ride they are still on, with no firm conclusion having yet occurred.
