Brown’s character was skeptical about Bill’s sudden profession of love for her and desire to couple. But she accepted it because he seemed to have proven himself. She escaped legal justice after shooting her son, John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan), and daughter-in-law, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and leaving them for dead in the alley behind Il Giardino.

So, Sheila had every reason to believe that Bill experienced a metamorphosis and did care about her. Well, he did not as she painfully learned.

B&B Spoilers – Jack Finnegan Felt Compelled To Visit

Jack Finnegan (Ted King) tried to pass off his acceptance of Sheila’s offer to visit her in prison as he intended to push her off. But Sheila sensed something when seeing Finn’s father for the first time in over a year.

She knows that Jack alienated his wife, Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), because of the reveal about Finn’s paternity and maternity. Sheila also tried to make Jack believe that the romantic connection they once shared still exists, implying that she can ease his loneliness if he helps her beat the murder confession rap.

Sheila wants to get out of jail however she can. As her meeting with Jack proved, her first choice is not to escape prison as she did in the recent past.
