She uses this information to worm into John ‘Finn’ Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) life. Sheila knew she would find a way to enter Finn’s life. At the time, she wasn’t sure what her angle would be. She learns about Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) kiss; she sees this as her opening.

The most important thing to Sheila is reconnecting with her son, Finn. She knows it’s a long shot for him to open the lines of communication with her after she tried to kill Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and used Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) to blackmail her from testifying against her.

After Hope informs Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) about her marriage strife, Sheila uses this information to open the lines of communication with Finn. She wants to warn her son that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) could become a thorn in his side.

Sheila thinks that Liam will want to reunite with Steffy. She doesn’t want her son to feel blindsided. Sheila believes there is a very real possibility that Steffy will betray Finn with Liam.
