In the July 14 episode, Sheila took some time to wallow in her misery now that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is gone. As Sheila continued to process the news of Luna’s demise, she wasn’t in a good headspace at all.
Despite Sheila’s best efforts to stop Luna from causing more chaos, she failed in the end. Sheila couldn’t help but love Luna when she found out about their true family connection, but that love wasn’t enough to save her.
During a conversation with like a little piece of her died with Luna. That could prove to be a pretty ominous hint depending on where B&B writers want to take Sheila’s storyline next.
Sheila is definitely carrying some guilt over how things turned out for Luna. All the regrets that Sheila’s dealing with could take a toll on her mental health.
What if the part of Sheila that died with Luna is the part that’s been keeping her on the right track? Sheila could be on the verge of a downward spiral that could put her back in villainous territory.
The show has tried to give Sheila a redemption arc, but most of us didn’t ask for one! Sheila is at her best when she’s stirring up trouble, so it might actually be nice to see her revert to bad behavior.

Deacon and Sheila’s marriage has been on solid ground for a while now, but could Sheila sink to a terrible place and ultimately start making some twisted moves again?
Maybe John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will wind up with some new reasons to worry about Sheila sooner or later.
Sheila could at least pose a threat to Li Finnegan’s (Naomi Matsuda) secret plan and stir up drama that way. Since it looks like Li actually faked Luna’s death as part of a scheme, Sheila may figure it out eventually.
That’s the kind of thing that could cause more conflict between Sheila and Li down the road, so stay tuned for updates on any fierce faceoffs ahead.

I get the impression that all this was to actually allow Sheila an “in” to be with Finn and Hayes. It may not last, but I believe that Steffy will gradually come to like Sheila. Eventually things will return to normal with Sheila losing yet another toe, and yeah, she probably will go off the rails again, but give her a few months to live her dream with Finn and Hayes.
