The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that nothing good lasts forever on soaps and that is especially true for the longevity of a couple’s happiness. Right now Sinn, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), are pleased as peaches, but that is all about to change in a dramatic and unexpected way.
How does Hope Spencer’s (Annika Noelle) Mommy Hope role lead to drama and conflict? Hope and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) are about to battle it out over custody of little Douglas Forrester (Django Ferri) and already their friends and family are taking sides.

In the August 30 episode, Finn expressed worry about Hope, while Steffy is rooting for her brother, Thomas. In response, uppity Steffy said that Hope should be grateful. She thinks that Douglas belongs with his dad Thomas and that Hope should be happy about him growing up in the Forrester family mansion.

In the moment the words were soon forgotten but this testy exchange portends trouble down the road. Finn dropped the subject but Finn is no lap dog. He is back from the dead, and that alone should give him impetus to live his best and fullest life, which does not include letting Steffy dictate it.
Is Steffy and Finn’s bubble about to burst? Looks like it and it will be fireworks when that happens.

And it could get personal since the Forresters are playing up Thomas’ biological connection to Douglas, while Hope is the mom who cared for him after his biological mom, Caroline Spencer (Linsey Godfrey), died. As fans know, Finn loves his own adopted mom dearly and he owes Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) his very life since she saved him after Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) shot him.

Sheila Carter’s twisted actions have strengthened Finn’s connection to Li even as Steffy has had a problem with her lying about him being alive. It would be compelling drama if Finn takes the custody battle personally and comes out on the side of Hope. Steffy will go hyena on her husband if this happens.

Sheila is a compelling argument that the birth parent isn’t always the best parent.
I thank they should leave Douglas with Hope it was Steffy and Taylor that put that in Thomas head
Finn needs to be filled in on how Hope came to get Douglas to begin with – by manipulating his father, Thomas, who due to his mental state at the time was unable to resist her and her meddling mom, Brooke.
Actually, Thomas manipulated Hope first by presenting her with a forged letter from Caroline asking Hope to be a mom to Douglas if something happened to her.
The truth needs to come out about Thomas, Steffy and Sheila – why Steffy went to the alley, how they got Charlie involved. Taylor and Steffy have gotten on my last nerve and Brook/Liam are about there too. Hope belongs with Finn.
I think the self righteous Steffy should experience the same emotions as Hope. Maybe Liam should file for custody of Kelly since Steffy believes the father should have a strong presence in a child’s life. Wouldn’t that knock her off her high horse.
Douglas should live with Thomas. Most of the other busybodies should mind their own business.
I think Douglas should be with his father.
