Of course, fans know that there will always be some issue that comes up. A perfect relationship in a soap is pretty much a death sentence for the actors. So, as much as fans don’t like conflict with their favorite couples, it is necessary to a certain extent — as long as the goal is to bring them back together somehow.

“She’s going to be completely floored when she finds out how all this went down, and his goal is to give Steffy her happily ever after. That’s been the goal since day one and he finally gets to have that, and in turn, Steffy makes a warm gesture of showing him the commitment she feels, as well.”
