Thank goodness the accident that she and Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) were involved in didn’t result in a tragic outcome, or even a far more serious set of circumstances than currently exist.

Dr. John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has diagnosed internal injuries that will keep Steffy off her feet for a while. As fans of Wood’s character knows, that’s not something she’ll be happy with. But Finn’s bedside manner will help to ease the pain and further her progress toward recovery.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Gaining More Than A Diagnosis?

B&B’s executive producer, Brad Bell, recently teased the show’s return to new episodes by noting that Steffy would have new love interests. That could mean Novlan’s newly introduced character will become the next great love of her life.

Then again, John might be someone who Steffy becomes good friends with. They could form a bond during her recovery that leads to a few dates but doesn’t develop into anything serious. Time will also tell if Novlan becomes more than a recurring character.

B& Beautiful Spoilers – Putting The Past Behind Her

It was a wise decision to write Steffy toward fresh relationships. While Steam was great, at times, that soapy ship has sailed on a number of occasions.

The essence of daytime involves many complex elements. But one of the simpler ones has new people being written into existing worlds. The dynamic that’s created then allows someone, for example, Steffy, to explore new situations with someone who has an unknown backstory.

John is an accomplished guy, who has a specialized skill set. As viewers saw, Steffy reacted with a noticeable response that could even be considered visceral. So, maybe the spark has the potential to develop into a lasting flame.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Unpredictable Adventures Ahead

These two people like each other. Whether Steffy and Finn become a couple remains to be seen.

But the new character that Novlan portrays can be woven into Steffy’s existing connections, which includes Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray), her father, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), and others. As that happens, Bell and his staff are likely to make Steffy’s newest personal adventure engaging and unpredictable.
