The Bold And The Beautiful – Inside Steffy Forrester’s Challenges

Steffy Forrester, portrayed by Daytime Emmy Award winner Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, definitely has faced challenges on The Bold And The Beautiful. From a painkiller addiction to stress about who fathered her unborn child, “there is always drama waiting for Steffy,” laughed Wood in a recent interview.

“She always gets pulled into something,” added the actress.

Thus far, Steffy’s complicated life did ease a tad when she confirmed that her baby daddy is (clap your hands!) her fiancé, Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan (portrayed by Tanner Novlan).

But Steffy still faces the challenges of standing by the other man in her life, her former husband Liam Spencer (played by Scott Clifton). Because Liam fathered her young child Kelly, Steffy faces a dilemma knowing that Liam got arrested for the death of Vinny Walker (played by Joe LoCicero, who recently exited The Bold And The Beautiful following his hit-and-run horror).

“It’s horrific to know that Kelly’s father is in jail,” pointed out Wood.

And she offered a spoiler alert: Look for Steffy to fight “tooth and nail to get Liam out!”

B&B Spoilers – Inside Steffy Forrester’s Bold And The Beautiful Water Birth: ‘Childbirth Looks Like Sex?!’

The July 1 episode of The Bold And The Beautiful took us through Steffy’s highly emotional water birth.

And while questions arose about that birth, Wood also vowed to reveal more about her baby daddy’s history.

“We will be finding out more,” shared the actress regarding Finn’s back story. “Steffy’s going to be very surprised!”

The water birth scene showed Steffy in what resembled a K-Mart blue light special child’s pool.

In addition to the clash of what looked like a very cheap pool, Steffy’s intense moans led Reddit Bold And The Beautiful fans to agree that the actress “made childbirth look like sex!”

Some viewers admitted feeling “uncomfortable watching” the water birth scene. And when the midwife peeked to see Steffy’s dilation, they felt the scene qualified as “gross” and “so weird.”

In addition to the cringe factor, some fans of The Bold And The Beautiful wondered what the future will hold for more close-ups of that water birth.

“There should have been blood when that baby was born,” pointed out one fan.

And another noted that the water “should have been a mess.” Moreover, several wondered whether The Bold And The Beautiful’s future episodes will show all the details of emptying and cleaning a birthing tub.

On the topic of future up-close-and-personal scenes from that water birth, though, the writers may want to beware. Several viewers confessed to fast-forwarding through the “cringey” scene.

But several gave kudos to the actress.
