Those who watched B&B for many years recognized the shadow Kimberlin Brown (Sheila Carter) cast from the corner of the Forrester mansion’s guest house.
One of daytime’s arguably greatest-ever actors was written back for another run that proved to be momentous.
Sheila was slapped twice across her face by Steffy, who was not going to tolerate this woman even though she revealed herself as Finn’s mother.

That meant Sheila was more than Steffy’s mother-in-law, her blood was coursing through Hayes Forrester Finnegan’s (Alexander and Chase Banks) veins.
Few would argue against Sheila’s shooting of Finn and Steffy as anything other than her most heinous act. She acknowledged that herself in the aftermath but before her deed was exposed.
B&B Spoilers – Liam Spencer Makes Open Play
Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) was with Steffy at the mansion. He told her directly that if a do-over was possible, it would go differently than in the past.
Steffy was moved by Liam’s admission and obvious desire to reconcile with her. She also knew it meant that Finn’s heated warning to her was proven true.

Yes, Liam was using the situation and his marriage to Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) having fallen apart to make an emotional pitch to Steffy. He was doing exactly what Finn said.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Can Not Take It
No matter what she decides, Steffy will protect her children from the Sheila threat. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) told Liam they would eventually put Sheila back in jail. That signaled it is not happening shortly.
So, something has to give with Sheila on the loose, Finn targeting Liam, and Clifton’s character telling Steffy that he will protect her and the kids. It feels like Steffy will take the children and go as far away as possible.
The above would leave Finn to fend off Sheila but would meet Steffy’s demand that his birth mother be nowhere near the children on B&B.

I really wish B&B would just put Steffy & Finn back together. Liam needs to just get over himself and beg Hope to take him back. And both Liam & Steffy need to come clean about the kiss in Rome and at the beach house afterwards. As far as Sheila they need to find a charge that she has done in one of crime and either lock her up or kill her off.
