B&B spoilers from the new issue of Soap Opera Digest reveal that there is a photo with an interesting caption. It mentions Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Paris… the city, not the character. She has a pained look on her face. With the actress seven months pregnant now, she is getting ready to have her baby. That means we won’t be seeing Steffy for a little while.

It is teased that Steffy could just not appear on our television screens. Fans would know that the actress was on maternity leave. However, that would leave a giant hole in the story, especially since Steffy’s pregnancy directly affects so many characters right now. John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) need to find out which one of them is the father. Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) marriage is in tatters. Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) will fight over the “Steam” bombshell.

After all, many lives are being destroyed over Liam and Steffy’s decision to sleep together. Finn and Hope are devastated and it will indirectly cause damage to other characters, too. Let’s not forget there could be a Forrester Creations scandal, as well.

On The Young and the Restless, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has been warned how social media can create scandals for business. The same can be said for Forrester Creations on B&B. It is possible that when Steffy’s tryst becomes public knowledge, that could have a negative effect on the company. In cases like these, it might be best for Steffy to disappear until after the baby is born. Plus, she is going to have a lot of hate over the next several months. Hope will want to tear Steffy apart, Liam will try to repair his marriage and that will be easier without Steffy around.
