Ridge regularly and openly admits that he loves Taylor. But he goes beyond loving her in the past tense or having love for the mother of three of his children and grandmother of his three children.

Taylor’s heart is manipulated by Ridge each time he allows himself to make goo-goo eyes at her. The audience notices that he only appears to do so when Steffy’s wicked stepmother is not around.

Yes, Ridge behaves like a teenager as well. His treatment of Taylor, as though she were an alternative high school cheerleader groupie to his captain of the football team, is wrong.

Brooke has a checkered history when it comes to men. She has had many of them love her. She has cared deeply for most of them, most especially Ridge, no question.

However, in clear retrospect, Brooke’s patience for Ridge, not the other way around, within the last year is admirable. Fans have not forgotten that she forgave him for the abominable Las Vegas, Nevada,
strip wedding to Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards).

Ridge has a bad habit of defaulting to Brooke’s mistakes. He uses them as a shield, indicating that could happen again. Yes, he could break his vow to Brooke and return to Taylor.
