The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that in Los Angeles Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) pregnancy hasn’t gone as planned. She chose to believe that her baby was John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan). But the fetal markers confirm that the boy or girl who will be born next summer is Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton).

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was surprised to hear his friend, Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero), speak in such technical terms. The audience also heard Vinny say that he recently told Thomas about his new job at the lab.

While Vinny referenced his recent employment in the last few weeks, he didn’t define where he was working. But soap fans saw him carry a white lab coat out of Forrester Creations’ main office during his last conversation with Thomas and assumed something was coming from that point in the plot.

Vinny’s intentions are misguided. As fans recall, he provided Steffy with underground pharmaceuticals. Her choice to take them caused a blackout, with Liam thankfully coming by the cliff house.

The above incident, unlike the most recent event at the fabled Steam setting, was a flash point that allowed Steffy’s developing pain-killer addiction to be addressed and eventually solved. Time will tell if Vinny’s implied involvement in the paternity test results produces positive or negative effects long-term.

B&B Spoilers – Assuming That Liam Spencer’s Test Result Is Wrong

It’s easy to leap from what Vinny volunteered into believing that he purposely helped to create a false paternity result. That’s the tease B&B is offering and it sets LoCicero’s well-played character up as the easy fall guy.

Thomas’ challenge of his friend becomes the next marker in this arc. So, if Vinny did ask a co-worker to alter the results, or he somehow changed the outcome himself, then a reveal will happen.

Atkinson’s character would likely gain the burden of once again controlling life-altering information. Thomas will have power to decide what his sister, Finn, and Lope knows and when they know it.

It could be that Vinny asked a friend at the lab to change the results and that request was botched. Vinny might have made some type of adjustment on his own and fumbled the information because he didn’t know what he was doing.

Yes, the theory of Vinny being the bad guy makes sense. But even if that proves true, it’s also possible that his plan didn’t go as intended and he doesn’t realize it.
