On Monday’s episode, he planted the seed that Liam is still in love with Steffy. This has been echoing in her mind prior to Thomas’ statement. But once he verbalizes her worst fear, it will send her world spiraling.

Knowing that Hope is on her way over, Thomas urges Steffy to make a move on Liam. She does and plants a kiss right on her ex-husband’s lips. What “Steam” didn’t count on was Hope walking in to see the smooch.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal they have a lot of explaining to do but they likely don’t have time. It is hinted that after witnessing the shocking kiss, Hope runs straight to her mother. She is devastated, shocked and heartbroken all at the same time. How is Liam going to explain or excuse this to Hope?

It seems that Thomas’ little plan helped destroy Liam and Hope, at least for the time being. However, it is also teased that Liam walks out when Hope immediately doesn’t accept his marriage proposal, which is conditional. There are a lot of forces working against “Lope,” but that doesn’t mean they are done forever.
