It’s one thing for Steffy to want her father to know about Brooke’s betrayal. However, she is taking it way too far by thinking this is how to get Ridge and Taylor back together again.

Steffy used Charlie Webber (Dick Christie) to verify Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) story. Steffy and Thomas saw the home security footage, which showed Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan) going back to Brooke’s house. Not only did “Beacon” kiss, but Deacon spent the night and didn’t leave until right before Ridge came home.

Steffy and Thomas were not happy about Brooke betraying Ridge once again. If it’s not Deacon, it’s Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) or another man. Steffy told her mother about Brooke cheating on Ridge.

Then, Steffy and Thomas let Taylor know that they only found out the truth because of Douglas. Taylor is shocked but ends up furious when she learns that Brooke tried to keep Douglas silent.

Taylor has tried to do a lot of healing and has made progress. However, Steffy’s obsession could end up interrupting and even destroying Taylor’s healing.

If Steffy keeps trying to manipulate her parents into getting back together, she could ruin multiple relationships. Ridge always goes back to Brooke and this time is no exception. Sure, they might break up for a while, but eventually, Brooke will worm her way back into Ridge’s life.
