John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) experienced a double shock. First, he couldn’t believe his birth mother returned to the cliff house after she was explicitly told by Steffy to stay out. Then, minutes after Sheila arrived, she collapsed on the living room floor.

B&B Spoilers – Another Manufactured Crisis Is Playing Out

The smile that viewers saw Sheila offer was only visible to the audience, as Finn was on his smartphone calling for an ambulance. That glance was a wink to the fans, allowing them to confirm that the old Sheila was back.

So, it appears as though her fainting episode is a ruse. Steffy and the other Forrester will see through Sheila’s lie. That targeted family has an enormous back-storied history with Brown’s character.

Included among the plot points was a more recent incident where Sheila exaggerated an injury to remain in the Forrester mansion with Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Quinn Fuller Forrester (Rena Sofer). That storyline played out through 2018 when this character was last seen on B&B.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Won’t Back Off Mother-In-Law

Steffy has no problem getting into it with Sheila, who has a breathing tube inserted into her nostrils. No matter what the diagnosis, Steffy won’t offer sympathy to her technical mother-in-law.

The problem with Steffy’s stance is that Finn’s connection to Sheila has quickly become more than biological. Sheila intended was to create an emotional bond, which seems to be developing.

So, Steffy’s exasperation will be renewed. Sinn’s trust was restored moments before Sheila entered the side door at the cliff house. But her concocted actions caused Steffy and Finn’s repaired feelings to break again, which was Sheila’s goal.
