For such a long time, fans asked head writer and executive producer Bradley Bell to give Steffy a real love interest. While Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) got to be together, Steffy was left alone for a long time. The rare times Steffy did get some passion, it wasn’t with a true love interest. It was just bringing Liam back into Steffy’s orbit.

Finn was a breath of fresh air and now that he’s dead, it seems a “Steam” vs “Lope” love triangle is being rebooted. That is the last thing fans want. It’s already been done so many times that fans are dreading seeing it all over again.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that Novlan spoke to Soap Opera Digest about Finn’s death. When Novlan got the call that he was being killed off, the actor was surprised. However, Novlan wasn’t the only one who was blindsided by the decision. Wood was utterly speechless over Bell’s decision, especially with the huge “SINN” fan base.

“I was pretty surprised… Then for everyone getting behind Finn and saying Finn was the breath of fresh air for the Hope/Liam/Steffy triangle, to be able to provide that for the fans and the show alike was a real honor… She (Wood) was surprised because we have so many SINN fans. She was speechless…”
