The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers show that Tanner Novlan (John Finnegan) has just shared the most amazing news with his fans. He and his wife have welcomed an adorable baby boy into the world!

Tanner Novlan Has Great News

He posted this to his IG: “Jones Douglas Novlan. Our lil man couldn’t wait to join us! He came 6/6/22, 7 weeks early, 3lbs 9oz. He’s happy and healthy. Mom is doing great too. Thank you to Dr. Waldman, Dr. Valenton and the entire nicu nursing staff at Cedars Sinai for being so amazing.”

Tanner Novlan is a native Canadian and he made a splash before joining B&B in a much-aired Liberty Mutual commercial wherein he couldn’t remember his lines. He was cast as Dr. John “Finn” Finnegan in The Bold and the Beautiful in 2020.

His character, Finn, was presumed dead in April and the subsequent fan outrage was enormous. Both fans and critics were livid with the show’s decision to write off Finn resulting in petitions to bring him back.

Lo and behold in May fans were stunned to see Finn hooked up to machines and comatose, but alive after all! Novlan talked about his character on The Talk, admitting that he had been aware of Finn’s non-death but was contractually obligated to keep his mouth shut and not say a word otherwise.

Novlan married The Bold and the Beautiful alum Kayla Ewell in 2015. In 2019 Ewell gave birth to their daughter, Poppy Marie. This February Novlan and Ewell told People that they were expecting their second child, a baby boy, in August.

What happens next for Finn now that he is among the living? In the coming days Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) learns she did not kill her bio son and expect all hell to break loose!
