But Clifton’s character may come to realize something he never thought was possible. Not only is Steffy no longer a romantic option for him, Hope might soon be off-limits as well.

Thomas genuinely encouraged Liam and Hope to remain together in recent months. Liam rejected the idea that Thomas truly changed, wanting instead to hold onto the comfortable fallback where Atkinson’s character was the eternal schemer.

Liam lives in a world of general uncertainty. But he’s sure that Thomas is his rival. Now, in a deliciously soapy twist, Thomas has ascended through honesty above Hope’s soul mate.

Humility is pushing its way up through Liam’s system. That’s part of the reason why he’s feeling physically sick. The coming confrontation between him and his rival will also produce lasting consequences that impact the altered state of this lingering debate.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Protects Her Children

Hope can’t gloss over the fact that Liam is the father of their biological daughter, Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson). She also can’t dismiss Thomas’ importance as the biological father of her adopted son or that Atkinson’s character specifically wanted her to become Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Samiri) second mom.

The choice Hope will have to make is subjective. Stay with Liam, despite who he’s revealed himself to be in recent months or give Thomas the chance he’s been patiently waiting for.

Liam might revert to his better form if Lope stays together. Thomas might be drawn back to his darker side even if Hope leaves Liam and embraces a real Thope pairing.

So, B&B ended the Steffy, Liam, Hope triangle and appears to be replacing it with an intriguing three-sided polygon that includes Thomas, Hope, and Liam. Noelle’s character decides which side, if any, that she’ll choose in coming weeks.
