The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Thomas Forrester’s (Matthew Atkinson) recent reappearance in Los Angeles, California, felt like a tease. A main character, who has been off-screen for months, pops in, announces his engagement, and leaves indefinitely. It doesn’t feel right.

Thomas’ reveal shook Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Her connection with Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) was instantly altered when he called Paris Buckingham (Diamond White) mom. Who better than Thomas to discover that Hope has developed feelings for John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and is acting on them?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – John Finn Finnegan Defends His Wife

Finn laid down the law to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), telling Steffy Forrester Finnegan’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) multiple-time ex-husband and the father of her first child what the new rules were.

Liam was no longer allowed to have open access to Steffy. Kelly Spencer’s (Sophia Paris Mckinlay) needs to represent the line Finn rightly drew.

Steffy loved Finn’s defense of her, with a segment of the audience likely cheering him for becoming the person who stopped Liam cold. Clifton’s character needed to prepare.

But Finn also boldly told Thomas that he would respect Steffy. Thomas did not take kindly to Finn’s downward view of his connection with Hope.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Logan Is Lost Again

Hope got off track in years past because of Liam’s incessant romantic indecision. For many years, he went back and forth between Steffy and Hope, and the audience eventually tired.

He went back and forth between Steffy and Hope for many years, and the audience eventually tired of that pattern. The writing staff created Finn to end it.

More recently, Hope finally agreed to be romantically involved with Thomas, but she was using him as a stopgap.

Thomas loves Hope and likely always will. However, during his recent time in LA, he reconfirmed that she did not want to marry him after two proposals were made.

So, Hope does not want a man who loves her and is romantically involved with her. She also allowed herself to become infatuated with Finn, partly because he is Steffy’s husband.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – More Of Thomas Forrester Is Needed

Atkinson brought tremendous depth to this longtime character when he became the recast in 2019. More of Thomas is always good soap.

Hopefully, the audience will see Thomas, Paris, and Douglas again soon. The potential for deep drama is clear.

Hope is determined to prove a point to Steffy by creating trouble through Finn. Novlan’s character has spoken to that while also purposely not telling his wife about Hope’s infatuation.

Thomas would love to expose Finn’s good-guy persona to Steffy and call out Hope if that scenario plays out.
