The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Distraught After Wedding Disaster – What’s His Next Move?

Matthew Atkinson - Bold and the BeautifulThe Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is in for a world of hurt. At the moment, he thinks that things may actually work out for him just the way that he planned. He’s currently standing at the altar with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), trying to force Hope Logan’s (Annika Noelle) hand. And for a few minutes, it looks like he’ll think that he’s going to get his way, as Hope pretends to want to marry him.

But as B&B viewers know, this is all a magnificent ruse on Hope’s part. She’s decided to turn the tables on Thomas and manipulate him for a change. The goal here is twofold – humiliate Thomas and show his family just what kind of man he is. She plans on “outing” Thomas’ lies and showing everyone that Thomas manipulated both her and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) for months.

Well, suffice it to say that Thomas will end up having a very bad day. He’ll likely feel a myriad of emotions, including anger, rage, and heartbreak. He’s going to be devastated to learn that Hope doesn’t mean it when she says that she wants to marry him. And to boot, he’ll have been bested in front of his family and friends. It should be a pretty bad scene, and even Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) may turn against him.

After everything is said and done, Thomas will have lost just about everything. Zoe’s surely not going to want anything to do with him, he’ll have lost Hope, Ridge won’t believe in him anymore, and Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) will probably say “I told you so.” Really, all Thomas will have left is Douglas, and even that could be in question, given that Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) plan on making Douglas a part of their family.

Who knows, we could see Hope fight Thomas for custody of Douglas after the wedding fiasco is over. Or she could at least strong-arm Thomas into not fighting her on raising Douglas with Liam by threatening to sue for sole and full legal custody if he doesn’t cooperate. It’s hard to imagine Thomas readily bouncing back from this without going through a bit of penance first.

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: What does Thomas Forrester Have Planned Next

But then again, this is Thomas that we’re talking about, and he’s resilient if nothing else. Right now, it’s hard to tell what kind of reaction he’s going to have to Hope’s little stunt at the wedding. Given that he has a serious dark side, he could become more polarized in his desire to take down the Logans. He can’t stand the Logans, but previously Hope was an exception to the rule. But once Hope has turned on him, perhaps he’ll become enraged and vow to take her down along with Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Or, Thomas could maintain his deep obsession and affection for Hope, while rationalizing that Brooke and Liam brainwashed her into turning against him. It’s possible that Thomas won’t reform at all from the wedding disaster, and that he’ll just see it as a temporary setback. He could come back with a bigger, more devious scheme to try to get Hope.

Of course, a third possibility is that Thomas will decide that it’s time to reform. Brooke has been saying for months now that Thomas needs serious psychological help and counseling to deal with his problems. He could go that route, and really take steps to become a better person. Unfortunately, knowing Thomas, this is probably the least likely of the three options!

We’ll see what happens with Thomas down the line. A lot of it probably depends on what Hope’s next move will be as Douglas’ mother, and whether Thomas ultimately learns something from this awful experience.
