No, Thomas isn’t getting better, as his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), wants to believe. And no, Thomas hasn’t made progress, as the real Hope concluded when she told him that he’ll be rejoining the Hope For The Future team.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Liam Spencer Trying To Prevent Replay
Liam (Scott Clifton) isn’t irrationally biased when it comes to Thomas. He’s a realist, which is why he’s once again fully troubled by all the glaring signs of potential tragedy.
It’s not that Liam holds a misguided grudge against Atkinson’s character. Liam is aware of the repeated instances of Thomas willfully jumping overboard, which caused deep damage in the lives of many people. In the case of Emma Barber (Nia Sioux), it also cost her life, which Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is aware of.
All Liam is trying to do right now is get as many people as possible to wake up. He’s stunned that recent history isn’t persuasive on its own, but knows that Thomas benefits from the poor soul angle.
B&B Spoilers – Loved Ones Remain Asleep?
John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) has an obvious influence on Steffy’s life. He alone makes it possible, if not likely, that she’ll come around to Liam’s point of view.
Finn’s doubts about Thomas’ stability aren’t likely to subside. So, he’ll continue to offer doubt that counters Steffy’s protective family instinct. That dynamic should also impact Ridge’s eventual conclusions.
As for Hope, she’s allowing co-parenting smoothness to serve as her guide. Even though Hope has stated that Thomas’ past actions are always in the back of her mind, her kind-hearted nature is creating the benefit of the doubt on his behalf. And that point, like Steffy’s sibling bond, is allowing Thomas to veer off-course once more.
The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Mannequin Is Outrageously Good
This storyline could be cited as ridiculous on its synthetic face. Having the mannequin discovered and that not serving to immediately end the mini-arc is also a deep stretch.
But daytime is escapist fantasy, which devoted viewers to realize and relish. So, the terrific performance Atkinson is offering as the tortured villain is delivering great drama. Thomas’ nemesis, Liam, is the classic good guy character, with Clifton proving as superb as ever.
Viewers know that the game isn’t believability, but the way in which this story is presented and the thrill of the chase to the end.
