While Thomas was telling Hope that they were going to be a family again for Douglas, she didn’t disagree with him. Just like when she wanted custody papers signed and let him believe certain things, she is doing the same thing now. She wants to be a mother to Douglas so bad that she will let him believe just about anything — including the delusion that they are going to be a family again.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers tease that there is someone who is concerned about Thomas’ state of mind. That individual is his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). She even talked to Thomas about him becoming obsessed again. Even though he denied it, at the same time, he was talking about how Hope views him differently now.

So, what happened when Thomas’ family bubble bursts and he realizes that Hope has no intention of being a family with him? That it was just so she could get her hands on Douglas? It seems that he could react with confusion, rage and feeling betrayed.

Things could once again get very bad for Hope — only this time, she would have nobody to blame but herself. You don’t mess with people’s minds and hearts the way she has with Thomas lately. There is a consequence for those devious deeds and she will have to pay the price.
