Light-hearted soap opera fans aren’t distraught, or in an uproar. Seasoned viewers who appreciate a sense of humor and daytime fun are along for the ride.

Thomas Forrester Can’t Control Impulses

Thomas (Matthew Atkinson) wasn’t able to bring himself to tell Hope (Annika Noelle) the truth about Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) being alive. So, he chose to threaten others and keep that terrible secret hidden far past that point when it should have been exposed.

Later in the plot, Thomas decided to manipulate Hope into thinking that she should marry him. His other nuptial effort, with Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes), was nothing more than an attempt to reignite Thope, which failed.

The Hope mannequin, or doll, is yet another projection of Thomas’ need for mental health treatment, which he incredibly hasn’t received to-date.

John Finnegan Becomes Aware Of Problem

John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) is a doctor, but not a psychiatrist. So, he didn’t initially recognize that Thomas was off. It must be noted that Atkinson’s character is good at concealing his true presence.

Novlan’s character will be around a lot now that Finn and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) have expressed the mutual love they have for each other. That means Finn will come to know Thomas and to observe him.

With the above, expressions about Steam, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), in particular, and other topics are sure to be experienced. So, Finn will become aware that Thomas isn’t all there very soon.

Finn Plays Hero In Reveal?

Someone is bound to discover plastic Hope. It would be intriguing and surely play into the developing storyline to have Finn be the character who is key in that regard.

Just as the good doctor treated Steffy, so too could he recognize Thomas’ issue and refer him to a specialist, other than Taylor Hayes (Hunter Tylo), who can address this major health concern.
