The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show that when Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) visits the cottage and gives Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) some court paperwork, the custody drama will begin. Hope will have to go before the judge since Thomas wants complete custody of Douglas.

Hope may object, but Thomas will stick by his choice and insist that he must do this. Thomas seems to be fairly certain that the judge will rule in his favor in the end. However, if Thomas entirely loses Douglas, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will be concerned that Thomas may live to regret his decision.

Once Thomas takes this to court, there is definitely a chance it will happen, but he will take the chance nevertheless.It will be a terrible blow for Hope and Liam to consider losing Douglas. Once the custody dispute starts, Liam will suspect Thomas may have one or more sly tricks up his sleeve, so they’ll need to be prepared for anything.
Thomas’ choice will completely upend Douglas’ life, but Hope and Liam will do their best to explain everything. Douglas should nevertheless feel a little concerned about the custody development and what it means for his family.

There’s a lot to worry about for little Douglas, and while the best option for him may be to stay with Hope, I’m sure there is a part of him that wants to live with his father despite everything that Thomas has done.
We thought that Douglas may turn his back on Hope during all of this, but at the same time, it will completely change everything about his life, his schedule and everything he knows. I wonder if Thomas would be okay with doing that to his son, and this battle may not even be worth it, especially since we all know that Thomas will have another moment where he decides to pry into someone’s life or go crazy.
I think Douglas should just stay with Hope, but this custody battle is going to get brutal and Thomas may want to reconsider what he’s doing to his son.
