The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that in Los Angeles Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) has emerged as the hero in the paternity drama. He follows his son’s example in the Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) arc as a result, which nicely wraps the current storyline.

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) is proud of his son for proving that he has become a better man. Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) isn’t as enthusiastic, but will acknowledge the hoped-for change in Thomas as well.

A brilliant storyline had Douglas play the hero when Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) baby was assumed to have died during childbirth, but actually was stolen and then sold by Doctor Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady). Thomas became aware of the truth, but manipulated it to his own advantage. That decision broke everyone’s trust.

Douglas overheard his dad talking about Beth being alive. He refused to keep quiet, as his misguided father insisted, and later told Lope that Beth never died.

Beth was alive in the form of the baby who was being called Phoebe by her adoptive mother, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

B&B Spoilers – Sharply Playing Off The Past

B&B has been telegraphing Thomas’ redemption for many months. The memorable mannequin tale resulted in his subdural hematosis diagnosis and emergency surgery, which sparked compassion in Hope and, to a lesser degree, in Brooke as well.

Many characters have been written into different, or even opposite spots, in this storyline as compared to the Beth-based storyline. Along with Thomas’ switch, Steffy was distraught because she had to relinquish her assumed adopted daughter. Now, she’s celebrating the realization of her desired family with John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

In the recent past, Liam and Hope were overwhelmed by the seemingly miraculous appearance of Beth. This time around Liam has to digest that he’s not actually going to be a father again, while Hope tries to decide the fate of their marriage.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Brooke Logan Forrester Coming Around

Brooke and Thomas don’t project as achieving a fully trusted stepmother-stepson relationship. However, his actions in this situation relieve a significant portion of Hope’s anguish and also verify Ridge’s belief that Thomas has been improving.

Here’s hoping that B&B is creating a scenario where Brooke and Thomas are able to work together. Doing so would provide fresh opportunities, rather than further digs on old ground.
