It would not have been believable for Hope (Annika Noelle) to have fallen in love with Thomas about a year ago. She knew that he was trying to force her into remarrying him by using Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) as a pawn and Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) as a puppet.

However, the eventual Thoe wedding fail happened because Hope outsmarted Thomas with his son’s help. Thomas ran off, returned later, and then suffered the effects of a subdural hematoma.

Hope now feels sympathy, instead of uneasiness, when she’s with Thomas. What happens next can allow their friendship to deepen, as long as he maintains control of himself and remains honest.

Thomas’ tell to Hope surprises and impresses her. He doesn’t try to kick Liam when he’s down, but speaks to the positive aspects of Lope’s marriage.

That one-hundred and eighty degree turnaround is noteworthy and isn’t the first time that Thomas has complimented Liam since new episodes began airing last summer. As viewers recall, Thomas complimented Liam’s commitment to his children while during an episode that was set in the Forrester Creations main office.

Hope can choose to trust Thomas’ words. If Liam proves to be the father of Steffy’s baby and Lope appears to be ending, then Hope will have Thomas to lean on.
