Yes, the end of the last sentence was a heavy wink at the one-time couple that Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) represented. Though B&B fans, along with the participants themselves, surely believed that Steam was over and had no legitimate chance of returning any time soon.

Well, as Thomas and the audience have seen, Steam isn’t done and a chance to win Hope’s heart is possible. That’s where Vincent Walker (Joe Lo Cicero) enters the picture.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Vincent Walker Represents Trouble

It could all be a carefully scripted head-fake. The writing staff could have written Vinny back as a distraction. His presence could simply be teasing the audience, with Vinny proving to do nothing wrong.

But fans saw the bottle of pills fall out of Vinny’s pant’s pocket in Forrester Creations main office. He later offered Thomas some of the underground chemicals, which were thankfully rejected. This could mean that Vinny has a medical connection who would help him to rig paternity test results.

The above was followed by a third strike. Vinny heard Thomas’ description of Hope’s current situation. Then the audience watched Lo Cicero’s character suggest the best possible outcome for Thomas, followed by Vinny’s seeming consideration of how that could happen.

B&B Spoilers – Hope Spencer Fully Distraught

Anyone’s wife would be frazzled after learning about the type of betrayal Liam committed. What he did to Hope was incomprehensible and that’s also considering that Liam and Steffy initially exonerated themselves the day after the cliff house incident.

Both people have come to learn that their combined actions have generated incredible consequences. Liam faces the potential end of his remarriage to Hope. Steffy feels good about John Finnegan’s (Tanner Novlan) pledge to remain with her and help to raise Liam’s daughter or son, but can’t be certain that promise will be delivered.

As for Hope, she told Liam that a decision about their future couldn’t be reached until the results were known. That’s happened and Hope is fully distraught.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Must Remain Balanced

Thomas needs to follow through with his promise to support Hope and Liam’s marriage, even if Clifton’s character is the father. Liam is believed to be that, which will test Thomas’ resolve.

Assuming Thomas’ redemption story continues, then he won’t take advantage of the situation. Thomas would be wise to reject Vinny’s call to become more assertive with Hope. Doing so could damage the trust he has been earning with Hope through his actions and words.

So, if Thomas can remain balanced he might deepen his friendship with Hope. What happens in time can play out naturally.
