The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Runs Away – Douglas Get His Family Wish?

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) did himself in on The Bold and the Beautiful. He knows it, despite his refusal to express responsibility and regret.

Consider it an intervention. With whatever tag one wants to apply to what happened at the proposed marriage of Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) to Thomas, viewers also knew that a sad situation reached its end.

Yes, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), those were real tears Thomas was crying. While her anger, along with Zoe’s and others were justified, there’s no doubt that Atkinson’s character does need help.

Here’s hoping that he gets it, instead of seeking reprisal against those who stood up to him. In the meantime, Thomas has once again run away from the problems he created.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Setup Was Very Intense

Hope, Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) were all in on it. But the gamble was Hope’s idea.

Noelle’s character decided that she’d change into the wedding dress Thomas claimed he designed for the Hope For The Future line. He actually believed that Hope would buy his thin story. She didn’t and, after learning from Steffy about the orchestrated kiss in the backyard of the cliff house, decided to con Thomas into revealing his true feelings during the ‘Thoe’ wedding.

As planned, Thomas reacted by acknowledging that he wanted to marry Hope. He also told Zoe, while she stood at the altar in her wedding dress, that he was sorry, believing, at that moment, that Hope would be his switched bride.

B&B Spoilers – Zoe Buckingham Slaps Face Hard

It was challenging to tell if the smack Barnes administered to Atkinson’s face was faked, or real. Atkinson’s left cheek did look red, as he rubbed it, but skilled camera work was also involved.

Zoe was outraged that Thomas would use her as a pawn and humiliate her in front of his family and their friends. This poor soul had no family of her own present, hoping to make Thomas and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) into that through the assumed ceremony.

The sight of Zoe and Hope standing together in allegiance, as a near-circular verbal firing squad unleashed it’s the collective fury on Thomas was just one of many great images B&B projected during this climactic scene. Yes, the threshold had been crossed, but that refers to the storyline itself, rather than the nuptials being completed.

Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Douglas Forrester Stood Up For Himself Again

Douglas cares about his dad but instinctively knows that he’s off-balance. The love that Hope has offered allowed Samiri’s character to bond with his new mommy. Together with Liam and Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson), the reformed ‘Lope’ family should enjoy a good life.

Although, Thomas can’t be gone forever. What happens, if anything, when he returns is sure to provide renewed drama for those who were witness to what happened at the planned, but not completed wedding that took place at the Forrester estate.
