The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Thomas Survived, Off Scheming Against The Logans – Is He With Zoe?

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) will find themselves seriously worried about Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). As B&B viewers know, Thomas hasn’t been seen by anyone since he fell off the catwalk in the storage area at Forrester Creations and dropped right into a vat of liquid. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) is under the impression the vat contained hydrofluoric acid and that Thomas met a terrible end.
In the days to come, Ridge and Steffy will wonder where Thomas is, as he won’t have been seen or heard from since his family dinner with Hope and Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) at Forrester Creations. And it looks like Hope won’t divulge what she knows about what happened to Thomas – and neither will Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), who is the only other person who knows that Thomas fell into the vat.
But where is Thomas, and what really happened to him? Well, as we have previously theorized, Thomas likely escaped from the vat, which was likely not acid at all. B&B viewers will remember that Thomas’ body floated to the top of the vat shortly after he fell in and didn’t appear to be burning, as it would have been had the vat really contained acid. So, it’s likely that there was simply steaming water in the vat.
Then, B&B viewers saw a man covered head to toe in a yellow hazmat suit yelling at Hope to leave the area when she was searching for Thomas. It looks like that man might have been Thomas himself, who wanted to shoo Hope away so he could make his big escape.
This would all comport with ongoing B&B spoilers that indicate that Thomas will be off in an undisclosed location plotting his next devious move against the Logans. So, all indications are that Thomas escaped from the vat, disguised himself in the yellow hazmat suit, and went off somewhere to regroup and think about what his next move should be.
Of course, things are complicated now that Thomas has signed the adoption papers for Hope. But something tells us that he’ll come up with some plan to eventually expose what Hope did on the catwalk. B&B viewers know that Hope didn’t intentionally push Thomas into the acid to try to kill him, but Thomas will probably know that it could certainly look like she did, especially if he lies and says that she did.

Plus, Thomas may be sitting back in the wings and waiting to see what Hope will do next. He’ll be in pretty good shape if it turns out that Hope doesn’t come forward with what happened on the catwalk, as that will make her look like she’s covering up a heinous crime. And given that Hope’s going to be wrestling with guilt for a while, it doesn’t look like she’s going to come forward with what happened, at least not for a while.
One wonders where Thomas is at this point, and we can’t help but think that he might be getting help from someone. He and Zoe Buckingham (Kiara Barnes) had reconnected recently, so it’s possible that Thomas is getting help from her. B&B viewers will remember that Thomas recently enlisted Zoe to be part of his Forrester comeback plan, and he shared with her his plan to rid his family of the Logans. They could very well be off together working on that plan.
We’ll see what happens here, but it certainly seems like it would be a very “Thomas” thing to do to wait and let Hope and Brooke conceal what they know before swooping back in and revealing that he’s alive. It would be a surefire way to cause big problems for both Hope and Brooke, and it could help Thomas prove that Hope fraudulently manipulated him into signing the adoption papers.

I feel like JMW (Steffy) still hasn’t returned to the show full-time, she really has no storyline of her own, most of her scenes take place in her house. She’s a powerful performer yet she’s not used in any storylines like she was in the past. That leaves the writers to keep Hope front and center and they continue to write storylines with Hope on the verge of mental breakdown. It’s tiresome to watch. The writers should have had Hope and Liam reunite with Beth, show them being a happy family for a few weeks then move them to the back-burner for awhile. Plus, what the heck happened to Katie, the writers just kinda left her languishing in the hospital recovering while Flo was up and out the next day.
