B&B Spoilers: Thomas Forrester’s Plan Is Working… For Now
Before analyzing this plot line further, let’s step back and consider why Flo, Zoe, and Xander Avant (Adain Bradley) agreed to. The ladies fear was genuine and Xander’s desire to protect his girlfriend was pure. However, the combined state of mind that trio sported collectively overlooked one important point.
Assume for a moment that any of the three, Flo, Zoe, or Xander, simply told Thomas that they would go to his father, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), and tell him what Thomas knows and provide detail about his threats to destroy each of the people who are the secret-keepers. Ridge is the one who’s running Forrester Creations, not Thomas. Atkinson’s excellently played villain implied that he (Thomas) holds current sway, when he definitely does not.
Sometimes within developing dialogue it’s easy to pinpoint a moment where common sense could have been used to prevent, or derail the push of an agenda. In this case that didn’t necessarily have to happen while Thomas was lambasting the three characters in question. No, it can come at any time later.
Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers: Xander Avant Has No Threat Of Jail Time Hanging Over His Head
Xander, especially, has no threat of jail time hanging over his head, as he told Thomas. If Xander and Zoe have any type of falling out, or if his conscience gets the best of him, Ridge can be told the truth any day of the week.
Xander, Flo, and Zoe know that Thomas isn’t the head decision-maker at FC. His haughty pronouncement that he and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), soon to be using her maiden name again, Logan, will run his family business someday is fully speculative. Plus, it told them what he thought of his sister, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

B&B Spoilers: There Is Looming Risk That The Secret Is Going To Come Out
The looming risk of anyone who’s in the know, a count which now numbers six, inadvertently letting the truth slip also remains a major threat. Flo and Zoe are constantly debating the ongoing consequences that have resulted from Reese Buckingham’s (Wayne Brady) impossibly harsh Catalina Island act. They, along with Xander, Thomas, and Shauna Fulton (Denise Richards), or even a returned Reese himself, are capable of dropping the reveal.
Returning to Thomas, when considering the six people who are keeping this secret, he is arguably the most volatile. As Xander realizes, Thomas is obsessed with Hope.
Whatever Thomas thinks he’s doing doesn’t represent love. And, talking Hope into becoming Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) stepmother also isn’t benevolent, it’s manipulative. Yes, the head of this plan to remain silent represents the biggest risk to it falling apart.
