Since he isn’t seeing anyone, we have to assume that his romantic evening is for the mannequin. Even though he had a logical explanation for Dolly Hope, it is clear his mental state will get much worse.

B&B spoilers reveal that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) tells Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) about the mannequin. However, he is accused of overreacting. Thomas comes up with a perfectly logical explanation for having the doll, which has to do with him working on Hope’s fashion line. Even though Liam knows it’s a cover story, Steffy and Hope take Thomas’s side.

Unfortunately, Thomas’s mental state is getting much worse. He will plan a unique dinner date, according to Soap Opera Digest. There is nobody he is interested in romantically, but the Hope mannequin is interested in him! As he continues to hallucinate and hear the doll talk, he will eventually believe that the plastic figure is really Hope.

However, as time goes on, he will start to have trouble differentiating between fantasy and reality. Eventually, the two lines will merge and get blurred. When this happens, that is probably when his mental instability will be noticed by others.

Thomas Forrester’s Doll Delusion

What is most concerning about this storyline is Thomas gets to spend time with his son. He will probably bring Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) to his apartment. The doll will be there, which might prompt Douglas to ask questions. Now, we are hoping that the little boy doesn’t witness his father’s hallucinations or delusions. It would be confusing and frightening for a child to witness a psychotic break.

However, there is a chance that Douglas will be around. Could Thomas be convinced that the mannequin is Hope? How will he react when the young boy doesn’t treat “Dolly” like “Mommy Hope?” Those in psychosis can get pretty agitated in circumstances like these. So, let’s hope that Douglas isn’t traumatized all over again.
