So, Thomas needs to be written into fresh drama if the above angles are not re-explored.

B&B Spoilers – Steffy Forrester Finnegan Is Number One
Ridge picked Steffy to help him lead Forrester Creations, not Thomas. Of course, Thomas’ creative bent, and history of erratic behavior disqualified him from being considered for any position of significance.
Thomas is one of FC’s lead designers. So, he does not hold prominence within his wheelhouse at the family business either.
Steffy is married to someone other than Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), which should prove to represent a major leap for her. But Steffy had her troubles, as the reckless motorcycle trip, which led to her accident, and the fall into pain-killer addiction demonstrated.
Yet, it appears that Taylor, like Ridge, puts Steffy on a pedestal above Thomas.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Turns Against Family?
Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) was used as part of Thomas’ plot to manipulate Hope into marriage. Thomas’ more distant history involves him targeting family members. So, it would not be a surprise if Atkinson’s character turns on his family now.
Favoritism toward Steffy could reignite Thomas’ jealous streak. While he is stable, Thomas has not been healthy for an extended period. So, TPTB could push him over the edge in the near future.
Could Taylor’s return, which projects as heartwarming, become something other than that? It is possible based on her son Thomas’ backstory.
