The Bold And The Beautiful:Thorsten Kaye The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Thorsten Kaye asked his bosses from the soap if he could take some time off. The actor has been playing the character Ridge Forrester for almost a decade now.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Plans To Go On A Family Trip

In a recent interview with Belgium-based news site HLN.BE, the actor said that he wanted to take a vacation for a few months, which meant being away from the soap for a short while. Kaye explained that he promised his wife Susan Haskell that they would take a “small world trip together” with their two daughters, McKenna and Marlowe.

Kaye wants to bring his family to places that he’s visited already, and they’ve all agreed to this plan. He revealed that his boss approved his request. His character will be written out for a few months next year or the year after.

B&B Spoilers – Replacing Ronn Moss As Ridge

When asked about taking over the role of Ridge from Ronn Moss, Kaye said that his wife offered insights on what he can do. Haskell, who is a One Life to Live alum, brought up the iconic role of James Bond into their conversation. She explained that everyone thought that secret agent 007 was over when Sean Connery gave up the role. But it didn’t. The character still attracts many people even if it was played by other actors like Roger Moore. The same applies to Ridge Forrester.

Spoilers hint that Ridge might have a new rival on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ridge and Jack Finnegan (Ted King) may butt heads if the latter disapproves of his son’s, John “Finn” Finnegan Tanner Novlan), relationship with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Ridge approves of Finn to be Steffy’s husband. He’s been with Steffy all this time even after her betrayal with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). They’re planning to tie the knot but it seems like Jack doesn’t feel the same for Steffy. He may have some harsh words to say to her, which could leave Ridge furious. If this happens, Ridge may find a new rival in Jack, who’s set to arrive in town with Finn’s mom, Li (Naomi Matsuda) on August 2.

      I hope Quinn gets whats coming to her and Carter is forgiven. What he did was wrong, but at least he wasn't married to someone else. I can't stand the way Quinn treats the person she says is her best friend! I hope Eric divorces her and she gets left with nothing! Paris stuck her nose in where it didn't belong and Zoe gets on my last nerve!

      Also, there are too many issues going on for a 30 minute show. This needs to be an hour long!!

      If Eric keep Quinn around he deserves what ever Quinn does to him.
      If Ridge is leaving to go on vacation for months, bring Ronn Moss to replace him. There is no one better to play Ridge than, Ronn Moss. Brooke and Ron really had chemistry.

      Thorsten Kaye was never the right replacement for Ronn Moss. Ronn is handsome, classy, caring, loving and perfect partner for Brooke. Thorsten is none of those!

      Brooke is no angel, she has slept with all the Forrester men, her daughters husband the result was hope and sleeping with Bill, her sisters husband Brooke is a slut and needs to stay inher lane. And take care of her son with Ridge…. Ridge needs to be with Shauna… Eric was a whore when he was married to Stephanie, so he can go with Donna and Quinn and Carter.

      Really Carter should be forgiven ??? Takes two to tango, he is in fault as much as QUIN, both should be forgiven and Brooke should go in a permanent soap coma. Sick and tired of noise witch
