The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers Thursday, January 17: Wyatt and Hope Reflect on the Painful Past – Katie Talks Thorne Into Her Plan

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers for Thursday, January 17, tease that Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will come up with a plan. They know they can’t take away the pain for Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), but they’ll want to ease it. They can at least provide a fun and furry distraction thanks to an adorable dog.

Sally and Wyatt will head to the cabin with their new friend. An eight-week-old Chihuahua mix named Oscar will appear in Thursday’s B&B episode. This cuddly little fella should bring a smile to Hope’s face. She’ll obviously still be crushed over Beth’s “death,” but Sally and Wyatt’s idea should lift her spirits.

The same goes for Liam, who’s struggling to manage his own grief and endure Hope’s as well. It’s brutal to see Hope dealing such devastation right now. That just adds to the sorrow in Liam’s heart. Fortunately, they’ll have a few moments of relief with this pup before they sink back into the darkness.

“The Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers say Wyatt will eventually reflect on the past with Hope. They’ll likely talk about the miscarriage they went through together and how difficult it was to get over. Hope may admit losing Beth was a far worse blow. She was so close to bringing this baby home and starting a family with Liam. Hope feels like it was all snatched from her in an instant – and it was.

Dr. Reese Buckingham (Wayne Brady) is clearly to blame for Liam and Hope’s intense suffering. He’ll move forward with his baby scheme, but it should come back to bite him sooner or later. In the meantime, Katie Forrester (Heather Tom) will push Thorne Forrester (Ingo Rademacher) to be civil. He won’t want Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) at their evening meal, but Katie will think it’d be a nice gesture.

Katie knows how much joy Bill brings to Will Spencer’s (Finnegan George) life. She’ll feel like the kid would love a family dinner that includes his mom, dad and stepdad. Katie will struggle to get Thorne on board, but he’ll ultimately cave in. Since Bill and Katie will grow closer during this meal, it’ll definitely fuel Thorne’s envy.
