It sounds like Daphne might get told that she is infertile and won’t be able to have a baby the old-fashioned way. 

In fact, Li adopted John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan).

While those circumstances and outcome were totally different, Li might encourage Daphne to look into adoption.

Zende Forrester Dominguez (Delon de Metz) was also adopted, so that might be another person who could get roped into this storyline.

Who knows, maybe Dylan ends up pregnant and Daphne could secretly adopt that child. 

Melissa Dylan’s Temptation
