The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Tuesday, June 23 – Zende Won’t Back Down To Julius – Nicole’s Big Adoption Decision – Thomas Thanks Sally

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers for Tuesday, June 23, tease that viewers will see an encore episode of B&B that originally aired on June 22, 2017. The episode is part of “Emmy Winning Performances” week on B&B and will feature a performance by Rome Flynn in his role as Zende Dominguez that won him an Emmy for Outstanding Younger Actor.

In the episode, Zende Dominguez (Rome Flynn) will talk with Nicole Avant Dominguez (Reign Edwards) in the Forrester design office. Zende will ask Nicole to think about the baby. Nicole will say that’s exactly what she’s doing. Zende will ask if Nicole had considered that Rick Forrester (Jacob Young) and Maya Forrester (Karla Mosely) also had a bond with Lizzy Forrester. Zende will say that Lizzy will always be in Nicole’s life, just not as her daughter.

Zende will implore Nicole to think about the consequences if she decides to try to keep Lizzy. Zende will ask if they’d run away with Lizzy and leave everything they worked for behind. Zende will say that they probably wouldn’t be welcomed at Forrester. Zende will plead with Nicole to think about her bond with Maya and about the bond that Maya and Rick have with Lizzy.

Zende will say that Nicole needs to think about the reasons she entered into the surrogacy to begin with. He’ll say that hanging onto Lizzy isn’t the way to stop the pain over the news that they had received about not being able to have children. Zende will tell Nicole that they could still have a family in time, and that it is ok for them not to have children right away.

Nicole will say that she had taken for granted how easy it had been to have Lizzy, but Zende will say that Nicole had appreciated it, and so had Rick and Maya. Nicole will be upset that she can’t have a child for her and Zende, and Zende will tell Nicole to stop it and that they needed to stop stressing about the matter and then it might happen for them.

Zende Dominguez Realizes That Julius Avant Has Pressured Nicole Dominguez – CBS Soap Opera Spoilers

Nicole will then reveal that she believed that she and Lizzy had a connection and that her father Julius Avant (Obba Babatundé) had seen the connection. Zende will then learn that Nicole had been talking with Julius about all of this, and he won’t be happy that she’s been talking with her father rather than her husband. Zende will say that it’s not right how Julius is leading Nicole in this.

Nicole will say that Zende just doesn’t know what it was like hearing that she was infertile and then hearing Lizzie call her Mommy. Zende will say that he doesn’t know, but he does know what it was like to have Nicole’s first child not be his. Zende will say that they’ll be parents in time, but not to Lizzy.

Nicole will say that she needs time to think, and she’ll wonder if Zende can understand. Zende will hug Nicole and leave her to spend some time alone. After Zende leaves, Nicole will sit alone on the couch in the dark.

Bold and Beautiful Spoilers: Julius Avant Reveals His Position To Rick Forrester & Maya Forrester

Next on B&B, in the Forrester CEO office, Maya and Rick will be worried about Nicole not signing the adoption papers. Julius will walk in, and Rick and Maya will have been expecting Nicole or Zende. Rick and Maya will explain to Julius that they were waiting to hear something from Zende and Nicole.

Julius will then reveal that he has heard about the issue with the adoption paperwork. Rick will say that there’s no reason to worry, and that Nicole will sign the papers. Julius will say that it’s no wonder Nicole is upset, and Rick will say that Nicole is being unreasonable. Julius will defend Nicole, saying that she just learned that she couldn’t have more children.

Maya will correct Julius, saying that Nicole “might” not be able to have more children. Maya and Rick will say that they feel for Nicole, but that it has nothing to do with the adoption. Rick will step out to go tell Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) about the holdup, leaving Julius and Maya to talk. Julius will turn on Maya, taking Nicole’s side and saying that Nicole already had enough to deal with without shoving adoption papers in her face.

Julius Avant’s Bias Against Maya Forrester Rears Its Ugly Head

Julius will ask how Maya will be able to live with herself taking away the only child that Nicole could ever have. Maya will say that Lizzy is her baby, and that Nicole was the surrogate. Julius will say that he thought Nicole agreed to the surrogacy because she felt indebted to Maya. Incredulous, Maya will say that they discussed all of this before the procedure. Julius will say that it’s time for Maya to think of someone other than herself for a change.

Julius will go on, saying that Maya knew what motherhood felt like now – something that she probably never thought she’d experience, and that now it was time to give it back to Nicole. Maya will be horrified, stating that Lizzy is her child. Suddenly, Zende will burst in the room telling Julius to stop, and that Maya is Lizzy’s mother.

Zende Dominguez Stands Up To Julius Avant – CBS Soap Opera Updates

Zende won’t back down to Julius, saying that he respected him at Nicole’s father, but that he (Zende) was Nicole’s husband. “Now you need to know your boundaries,” Zende will say. Julius will fight back, saying that no boundaries or husband would change the fact that he’s Nicole and Maya’s father.

Julius will then assert that if Maya had been meant to have a child and be a mother, she’d have been given what’s necessary to make that possible. “How dare you,” Maya will say to Julius. Zende will say that Maya had given Lizzy understanding and compassion from day one, and that Nicole had agreed to the arrangement at the outset of the arrangement.

Zende will say that Julius was known to be a man of his word, and then Zende asked what Julius wants Nicole to be. Zende will tell Julius to stay out of his marriage and to stay away from Maya. Julius will leave, with Maya thanking Zende.

Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers & Updates: Thomas Forrester Gets Settled In At Spectra Fashions

Next on B&B, at Spectra Fashions, Thomas Forrester (Pierson Fodé) will kiss Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) as she cools off in front of a fan. Sally will say that they might have found a way to fix their air conditioner, but Thomas will say that he doesn’t want to fix it. Sally will note that the air conditioning probably doesn’t go out at Forrester Creations.

Thomas will reply that he’d rather be at Spectra Fashions with her than any other place in the world. Sally and Thomas will discuss the new Spectra logo and how Saul Feinberg (Alex Wyse) was likely feeling jealous of Thomas’ influence at Spectra. Sally will think that Saul will come around, and she’ll tell Thomas not to worry about what Saul or Shirley Spectra (Patrika Darbo) thinks.

Thomas Forrester Feels Immense Gratitude Toward Sally Spectra

Sally and Thomas will also discuss the fact that Coco Spectra (Courtney Grosbeck) was no longer a part of Spectra Fashions. Although Sally will still want Coco there, Sally will say that Coco is happy and doing well at Forrester Creations. Thomas will say that both he and Coco had forgiven Sally, and that it was time for her to forgive herself, too.

Thomas will also note that he was happy now at Spectra in a way that he hadn’t been at Forrester Creations. Thomas will say that Spectra was reminding him why he fell in love with fashion. Thomas will say that Sally had made him remember that, and that it was why he fell in love with her. Finally, on Tuesday’s encore episode of B&B, Thomas will thank Sally with a kiss.
