Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom) are both moving on. Carter and Katie’s friendship could develop into a love story. However, Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont) obsession could spiral out of control.

B&B spoilers reveal that Carter and Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) began as an affair, then turned into a low-profile romance when Eric Forrester (John McCook) filed for divorce. Once “Queric” got back together, Eric pushed Quinn and Carter back together. The patriarch used the open marriage as a way to keep Quinn satisfied as Eric was no longer able to perform.

When Eric changed his mind about the passion agreement, Carter admitted his love for Quinn. The lawyer then asked Quinn to run away with him. However, it sounds as if Quinn refuses, which means Carter is single once again.

As for Katie, she admitted not wanting to get back together with Bill. Katie likes not having to fear another betrayal with her sister, Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang). Katie is also relieved that she doesn’t have to worry about Bill going to extremes or justifying committing crimes.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers reveal that the preview for the week of October 18 shows Katie confiding in Carter. The young woman doesn’t want to have to settle for Bill, especially since she has never been first in his heart. As Katie opens up about Bill, Carter smiles and showers her with compliments. So, they might be just friends now, but it could turn into a romance.

The preview also teases that Bill becomes obsessed with getting Katie back. He almost seems panicked and frenzied about it. With Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) no longer fixated on Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle), it is time to get another obsessed character. That person just might turn out to be Bill, but how far will he go, and could Carter end up in danger?
