After 15 long years, ≈ is leaving the writing team of The Bold and the Beautiful. Since 2005, he’s been the CBS soap’s scriptwriter and as a story consultant from 2009 to 2019. Mulcahey addressed the rumors that he is already retiring and said that he’s simply taking a break.
In a statement given to Daytime Confidential, Mulcahey thanked everyone for their kind words and good wishes. But he clarified that he’s not retiring.
“I’ve just put in fifteen satisfying years at The Bold and the Beautiful and am taking a little break before looking for my next job. If I’m very lucky, it’ll be as good to me and for me as B&B,” he said.
Mulcahey’s last episode is scheduled to air on December 5.
Before The Bold and The Beautiful
“The Bold and the Beautiful” isn’t Mulcahey’s first gig. He’s worked on “General Hospital” as its associate head writer, breakdown writer, and scriptwriter. He’s been with “Guiding Light” as well as a scriptwriter in 1982, 1992 to 1994, and as its co-head writer in 1994. He also worked on “Santa Barbara” from 1984 to 1990 and the “Another World” spinoff, called “Texas.”

The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers: Monday, November 11
It’ll be an intense Monday for all the viewers of “The Bold and The Beautiful.”
Starting off with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson). Hope will be left feeling worried about Thomas when she realized that she hasn’t seen him since their last encounter at the industrial area.

Viewers may recall that Hope and Thomas were arguing at the Forrester Creations. He leaned in for a kiss and shoved him, causing Thomas to fall into a vat of steaming liquid. It’s presumed that the steaming liquid is hydrochloric acid, which Jack Maclaine (Todd McKee) to clean parts of the industrial washing machine. If that’s the case then Thomas doesn’t stand a chance. But if it’s steaming water then the odds are he’ll survive the fall.
There’s no news of Atkinson leaving the show so it’s safe to say that he’s not going anywhere anytime soon. However, he might go off-screen for a bit since spoilers hint that he’ll go missing for a period of time.
Bold & The Beautiful Spoilers – Ridge and Brooke’s Unresolved Issue about Thomas
Over at Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang), the couple will still have unresolved issues. They’ll be at a total impasse concerning Thomas and his fitness to be a parent. How will this disagreement affect their marriage?
