The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers reveals In any “who’s the daddy” storyline on a soap, someone messes with paternity test results. On B&B in Los Angeles drug dealer Vinny Walker (Joe LoCicero) has suddenly morphed into a lab tech with advanced skills in genetics and IT. He wears a white coat! Peers into a microscope!
When challenged about the results of Steffy Forrester’s (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) paternity test, Vinny bellows, “I ran the test! Science and DNA gave the answer!” Well, no. A paternity test would’ve been done at an outside lab. It’s not simple like a glucose reading.
Steffy got knocked up by her ex after Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) saw nemesis Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) kissing a mannequin resembling wife Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), freaked out, and seduced Steffy. It happens.
The Bold And The Beautiful – No Birthcontrol
Of course Steffy conceived, because no one on B&B uses birth control. Who’s the daddy? Liam’s single shot or boyfriend hunky doc John Finnegan (“ Finn”) (Tanner Novlan)?
Steffy had a paternity test, and it’s just barely possible to have results now. But that’s assuming that Steffy’s pregnancy is progressing in real time, not “wardrobe change time.” Since it takes Steffy and Hope 5 days, typically, to change their work outfits, which normal people do daily, then that timeframe would make Steffy preggers for 45 months. That’s two elephant pregnancies.
Altering a paternity test result would be extremely difficult, if not impossible.
B&B Spoilers – Paper Lab Report
The test compares the sizes of snippets of fetal DNA in the woman’s bloodstream to the sizes of the same snippets in a potential daddy. Eighty pieces are tallied, displayed as four lists of 20 numbers. “If some pieces of the fetal DNA aren’t also in the DNA of the man and pregnant woman,” he’s out of the running.
For a paper lab report, Vinny would’ve had to be a whiz with white-out to doctor the data. But on March 1 Finn asked Vinny to find results for another patient, on the computer.

Paper or screen, Vinny would’ve had to change some numbers and replace “0 chance” that Finn’s the daddy with “99.9998% chance.” Ditto change “the sample is excluded as the biological father” to “the sample is not excluded as the biological father.” Most online documents – PDF, scanned jpeg, word – couldn’t be altered without leaving an echo.
But Finn now knows that Vinny’s a lab tech and a friend of Thomas, the mannequin molester responsible for this whole mess. Stay tuned! The light bulb is about to go off in the befuddled doc’s head.

If this were real life, it would be very difficult. But on soaps, we frequently have to suspend reality when medical issues are involved.
Finn’s character is so whiney. He hasn’t even showed up as a physician since Steffi got off drugs. And finally give him a better wardrobe upgrade. His is stuck in the 60’s!
They really do things Quickly on BnB, but thats the joy of this drama, then drag out the real pretend "FATHER"- for months LOL
None of this makes sense and Steffy wouldn't dump Finn.
THE WRITER DO NOT CARE HOW THE FANS OF THE SHOW FEEL (I think that the writers just want a pay check with out doing the work and that is a wat we have the same story line) would really like for it to come out now that Kelly is not Liam (she Bill's) and this new baby be Finn's!!!!!
Steffy is pregnant and she can't be stressed about anything. Spoilers are saying, Finn changes the locks to her Cliffhouse now I don't believe that. Now Liam is supposed to be the father and Steffy felt that Finn is the father. I hope the writers would let us know what Finns secrets are they haven't shown his house or Steffy ever going to his house, you see him like a obsessed boyfriend. And Vinny if they cast him off I wouldn't miss him. But the truth needs to come out if there was tampering and if not still, a lot of fans believe Liam is the father. It would be scary if Finn may have some dark tendencies and Steffy being pregnant and if Finn is the father. That would be juicy.
We were hoping it would be two babies. One for each man. Now that would really be a story.
Kelly and unborn baby are both Liam's.
I think the sooner they clear up this paternity issue the better. Let Finn be the father and Steffy and Finn get married! As we know Hope might not take Liam back and when she doesn't he will want to be with Steffy. He needs both women to stay away from him and make him grow up!
Right. Is he Dr. Finn or just Steffys' boyfriend? Forget about your patients.
Yea. Why is it we never see Dr. Finn's house. He is always at Steffys' house, also walking in as if he owns the place. Most doctors have long hours, Dr. Finn have no hours at the hospital.
I think Vinny did not change the test. He would not know what to do.
I do not know how long you have been watching but Bill when into were they were doing the testing and Vinney also change them because he wanted Thomas and Hope to be together .
